Rhino Linings Application Process

A step-by-step guide to the Rhino Lining application process. These photos depict the Rhino being applied tothe bed of a truck however there are many other uses for the product. Check out our Photo Gallery for some other examples. Please call our Body Shop to schedule an appointment.

When making your appointment, please be prepared to leave your truck with us for most of the day. Also, keep in mind that we will recommend you do not put any weight on the bed for a full 24 hours.

	Once your vehicle is brought to our Shop, a Certified Technician will begin to prep your truck. The tailgate is removed and all tie downs, bolts and plugs are removed to ensure an even application throughout the entire bed surface.
Next, the bed of the truck is coated with an acetone solvent to remove any grease and dirt before sanding.
	After the bed is sanded, it is taped off to ensure a perfect application and no drips.
The other areas of the truck are covered by a high quality protective cloth to prevent bleed-through.
	The Technician will then begin spraying the Rhino coating in special enclosed pray booth.

	The Technician carefully inspects the bed with a flashlight or other bright light to make sure the texture is consistent, with no shiny areas, and that there is a proper and even application.
Then, the protective cloth and tape are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is inspected to make sure there is no overspray.
	A a final inspection is completed, again checking to be sure there is a consistent application with no drips or overspray. The tailgate is put back on and checked to make sure it closes properly over the Rhino Spray. All hardware is reinstalled.
